Patti Perino

I began writing Under the eaves… in 2017 and have enjoyed sharing all the information that I have found on Henry Miller and his family.  I am usually on the computer doing research for about 15-20 hours for each story.  Most of the stories write them self after I have finished the research.  I hope that you enjoy reading them as much as I enjoy writing them.

I have held many positions during my working career.  I moved from sales person to store manager, from eCommerce data entry to general merchandise manager for an eCommerce retailer and from receptionist to assistant to the president of a clinical research company.  I also spent 10 years as an advertising sales person for a newspaper.  The common thread in all of these positions was to find out what information people needed and provide it.  I am very detailed oriented and enjoy researching to find the data necessary to provide the needed information.

As a volunteer, I worked for the Garlic Festival for 8 years on the promotion committee.  I started by rolling posters in preparation for sale and ended as chairperson of the promotions committee.

As the granddaughter of a blacksmith and as a horsewoman, barns have always held a special place for me.  They are where hard work and life take place and they leave a legacy for us to follow and aspire to.  That is why I love The Miller Red Barn and the heritage that it speaks too.
